‘Twas the night of the Giants game, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
My ‘skins shirt was hung in the closet with care,
In hopes that through February, it’s the one I would wear.

Gibbs, Cooley, Portis; and Collins, old chap,
Probably just settled down for a post-winning nap.

And there I was nestled all snug in my bed,
While visions of playoffs danced in my head;

All that’s left between us and the joy of all joys,

Are the Vikings/their back; our archrivals the ‘Boys.

We will shut Adrian down, he wont stand a chance,

And only the skins will do an endzone dance.

Of Romo’s completions, Dallas won’t boast

He’ll be 0 for 40, thanks to 21’s ghost.

The wild card spot is ours for the taking,

This will be nothing short of history making.
We stand by you ‘skins, with the playoffs in sight,

Happy card chase to all, and to all a good fight.
